The UK's premier corporate clothing supplier, Incorporatewear,
which has a reputation as a pioneer of new technology, has scooped
the industry again by becoming the first in the sector to offer
Odegon DeOdor Tags, an invention that cleverly neutralises smells
by capturing odorous molecules in a nano-porous mesh.
Imagine a work shirt that can offer instant, effective and
reliable odour control - built in.
What may seem like a far off whiff of an idea has become reality
thanks to a new technology that Incorporatewear is looking at
building into selected shirts and tops, from pilot shirts to
blouses.
The Odegon mesh can be applied either during manufacture or to a
finished garment, typically under the arm of a shirt, and provides
an inert, long lasting and environmentally friendly solution to
body odour.
Outside of sport, workwear is perhaps the most likely type of
clothing to need extra protection, so Incorporatewear expects
strong demand for the technology in the corporate clothing
sector.
Brian Lamb, Production Director at Incorporatewear, said:
"DeOdor Tags are a fantastic invention, and we're extremely pleased
to be the first corporate clothing company to showcase this
product.
"The use of technical fabrics is an important facet of corporate
clothing, and we are already working with other technologies, such
as Nano-Tex fabric that makes clothing stain resistant without
changing how clothes feel."
The Coleshill-based company have approached clients to
participate in trials of the DeOdor Tags and the response so far
has been very positive.
Odegon Director Steve Rawlings comments: "Our new product launch
had to be with the right partner, and Incorporatewear are renowned
in the industry as being the UK's leading corporate wear supplier.
Our unique DeOdorTag will help corporations maintain their
excellent standards."
Incorporatewear clothes the workforces of blue chip
organisations including Virgin Atlantic, Nationwide Building
Society, Clarks shoes and Specsavers.
