Energy software specialist Contigo has agreed a three year deal
with international integration experts Indra that will see them
extend their customer base into mainland Europe.
The partnership - which is expected to be worth £1 million
over three years for the two organisations - will see Indra act as
an integration partner, providing implementation and configuration
support to customers using Contigo's software products throughout a
number of European countries.
Indra will also act as a local sales organisation in those
territories - drawing from their local knowledge and existing base
of contacts to open discussion with energy providers - while
Contigo will provide sales support and licensing of
products.
Simon Piercy, Contigo, said: "We have enjoyed great success in
the UK and are now looking for opportunities to begin working in
new markets overseas. Contigo can provide a unique product to
energy companies in the form of our enTrader suite and while we are
well positioned in the UK market selling overseas needs a local
presence. Indra is one of the most highly regarded
integration companies in Europe and they have an in-depth knowledge
of our target markets."
"This partnership represents an outstanding opportunity for us
to market Contigo to a far more diverse audience, extending our
client base and adding new functionality to our products which will
benefit all of our end-users."
More than 140 energy companies around the world operating in
electricity, petroleum, water and gas use Indra products and the
company is recognised as a world-leader for sustainability within
the energy sector, featuring on the Dow Jones Sustainability
Index.
Leo Benitez, Indra, said: "Contigo's products represent an
exciting step forward in providing bespoke energy risk management
software solutions to companies and I am extremely pleased that we
have been able to agree this partnership and assist them in
developing their business in mainland Europe."
Established in 1921 in the Spanish town of Aranjuez, Indra has
grown to become a global company embracing technology, innovation
and talent, with 30,000 employees operating in over 100
countries.
