Geberit and Grundfos UK received the top awards at the annual BSS Industrial Supplier event, which recognises the excellent working relationship between suppliers and the leading distributor. The event saw Geberit winning Supplier of the Year and Grundfos winning Most Improved Supplier.

Geberit came out on top after coming fourth in 2010.  The company was named Supplier of the Year after receiving the highest marks across eight categories including, commercial, regional sales, key accounts, logistics and marketing. In an outstanding year, they even achieved maximum marks in three of the judging criteria.

Mark Larden, Managing Director of Geberit said:

"It's a great honour to receive this award from BSS Industrial and it means a great deal to every member of staff. We always strive to improve our service and strengthen our relationship with BSS Industrial - this award demonstrates that our hard work is paying off."

Grundfos was recognised as the most improved supplier after moving up nine places since 2010, ranking fourth overall. In an impressive 12 months, the company has managed to improve its points score by over 50%

Grundfos Director of Sales, Glynn Williams, added:

"We're delighted to receive this award. It's great to receive formal recognition of the hard work we've put in over the past 12 months."

Sue Greatorex, BSS Industrial Commercial Director congratulated the winners:

"Both companies were clear winners. Geberit and Grundfos have worked extremely hard to provide an excellent service, allowing us to work together to provide excellent stock availability and the best range of products possible. They both took on board the feedback from last year and really upped their game; it was a great event for everyone involved".

The awards were presented at the annual BSS Industrial Supplier Event, held at the Forest of Arden Marriott Hotel on 9th June. The event saw a day of activities for BSS Industrial suppliers, including golf and archery, followed by an informal dinner and awards ceremony.
