company's Midlands operation to Colmore Row in Birmingham
Leading development company Ashfield Land has heralded the
beginning of a new period of investment activity by moving offices
into the heart of Birmingham's central business district.
The ambitious company, which is actively seeking investment
opportunities across the West Midlands and further afield, has
established a new base in Colmore Row.
Ashfield Land's Birmingham team, led by Nick Jones and John
Gray, has access to substantial funding and is on the acquisition
trail. Nick said Ashfield Land had emerged well from a
difficult time for all property companies and was now pursuing land
and development opportunities across the UK.
Nick, director, said: "Our move to new offices right in the very
heart of Birmingham's key business district marks the beginning of
a new era for Ashfield Land's Midlands operations. It is no secret
that many property development companies have had a rough ride
since 2007 but we are in such a strong position that we have still
been doing business while others have struggled.
"We have emerged successfully from the downturn. I am now
stressing to agents that we are very acquisitive and we are keen to
buy, plan and develop suitable opportunities across the
sectors.
"The much talked about double-dip recession now looks unlikely
to happen. There is positive sentiment coming from the market and
enough projections to show that we are past the worst, and that the
market is going to improve, that we can now look ahead with
confidence."
Agents, property consultants, architects, developers and lawyers
recently joined Ashfield Land managing director Andrew Fisher and
colleagues at the Hotel Du Vin to celebrate the launch of the new
office.
Ashfield Land is a property development company with a proven
pedigree. Its success, underpinned by significant equity resources,
enables it to pursue fresh opportunities irrespective of the
current economic turbulence. With a portfolio valued in excess of
£250m across all sectors, Ashfield Land has established
positive and lasting relationships based on trust. It has offices
in Bristol, Glasgow and Birmingham and will consider acquiring
sites and properties throughout the UK in all sectors.
