Anderson Yorke helps people to manage and make the most of career change. With the UK's economy seemingly close to melt down, the number of people faced with job loss has been steadily on the rise. We all know friends and relations who are having great difficulty in getting back in to the world of work. It is therefore of no surprise that Anderson Yorke's services are in demand. 2011 has seen the busiest start since the business was launched 5 years ago in South Manchester. Whether it's as a result of companies cutting costs, closing sites or top level changes in companies enforced by the pressures of the market, Anderson Yorke are passionate about helping people of all levels of seniority to turn job loss into a new opportunity.

The demand for Anderson Yorke's services has increased significantly in the past few months. Whether it is helping people to write CVs, understand the subtleties of the job market, prepare for interviews or take the plunge in going self-employed, Anderson Yorke works with companies on a truly national basis.  One of their more recent projects involved having consultants on-site to support a client's employees across six locations - from Scotland to Tamworth, Doncaster to Blackpool -, all the employees having been told on that very day that they had lost their jobs.

In response to Anderson Yorke's growth they are pleased to announce the appointment of a new Director, Keith Busfield. Joining from one of the UK's largest outplacement organisations, Keith has extensive experience of the world of outplacement as well as working with HR and Personnel teams across the UK. He successfully launched a Midlands operation 10 years ago and is now keen to take Anderson Yorke truly national. The first step in this is the recent opening of Anderson Yorke's office in Temple Row in Birmingham.

Stefan Yorke, founder of Anderson Yorke, says: "we are truly excited having recruited Keith to the team. He is a stalwart of the outplacement industry and will be a huge asset as we roll our services out nationally". In the words of a seasoned Group HR Director "Keith is a person everyone should add to their network!  He has an unrivalled list of professional and personal contacts and exceptional business development and relationship management skills. Add him to the list of people you should know!"

As Keith says: "It's never easy job hunting. And while the recent news into the difficulties faced by the over 50s makes Anderson Yorke's work even more of a challenge, it underlines the value and rewards of helping people, whatever their age,  find good new jobs  as soon as possible and with the least worry."
