Following a successful free video conferencing event which was
held on 7th June, Adept4telecoms is bringing new IT ideas to
businesses in Birmingham and the surrounding areas.
IT Management company, Adept4, along with its sister company,
Adept4telecoms, which specialises in voice communications, held
this inaugural event on Tuesday 7th June at Birmingham Science Park
in Aston.
The event was attended by 30 businesses such as chartered
surveyors Fisher German, recycling solution company Knowaste, and
independent Scania vehicle dealer, Keltruck. The day aimed to
provide them with the most up to date knowledge in video
conferencing, from the most recent innovations and technologies.
Adept4's CEO, Peter Birkett and CTO, Paul Talbot opened the
presentations and there were guest speakers from the Science Park
and worldwide company leader in networking, Cisco & Virgin
Media, to share their knowledge on the latest technologies.
As well as a host of presentations, there was the opportunity
for guests to network and to sample live demonstrations throughout
the day, such as the Cisco Networking on Wheels van which is
equipped with the latest Cisco networking technologies.
Peter Birkett, CEO at Adept4 and Adept4telecoms, commented: "We

from the event. The aim was to build business consideration for
video conferencing and unified communications. Being able to
experience the latest technologies first hand at our event, enables
companies to gain a clear understanding of how unified

One of the attendees from the event, Dave Jelley from Knowaste
