A Market Harborough estate agency has demonstrated its
confidence in the state of local property market by extending its
opening hours to include Sunday trading. Andrew Granger & Co,
who are located on the High Street, are now opening on Sundays from
11am to 2pm.
With Sunday trading becoming increasingly popular in the town,
free parking and more shops, restaurants and coffee places opening
throughout the weekend, Sunday has become a progressively busier
day for shopping, browsing and eating out.
"Our offices occupy a prominent frontage on High Street,"
comments Peter Buckingham, a Partner at Andrew Granger & Co.
"There is always a host of people viewing the properties in
our window display over the weekend, so it seems the logical step
to extend our office hours and open our doors to those people.
Sunday is one of the most convenient days for families to view
properties and people will now be able to contact us to arrange
viewings and seek advice whenever suits them best."
Andrew Granger & Co lettings department will also be
offering their usual range of services, including Sunday viewings
for additional convenience.
A recent survey carried out by Andrew Granger & Co concluded
that sales have outperformed expectations in many parts of the UK
and that the higher end of the East Midlands' housing market has
remained stable. Evidence suggests that house prices have fallen
since the peak of around 4 years ago and are now more affordable,
in line with 2004 prices.
"Despite the general economic climate, we are extremely busy at
present," comments Peter. "In addition, footfall is increasing with
the opening of the 60 bedroom hotel directly opposite our offices.
Market Harborough has become such a buoyant and thriving
town; we are exceptionally proud to be a part of its growth."
Andrew Granger & Co is open Monday to Friday 9am to 5.30pm,
on Saturdays 9am to 4pm, and on Sundays 11am to 2pm.
