West Midlands law firm Talbots Solicitors has supported a former
director of arguably the world's leading football brand as he takes
on a new challenge - running Europe's leading football
event.
Formerly Manchester United's director of business and
development, Ben Hatton has teamed up with Hagley-born Peter Deaman
as the pair worked with Talbots' Business Services Team to acquire
the assets of Grassroots Events LLP. Now, as directors of
Grassroots Football Live Limited, Ben and Peter are preparing for
the live event held at the NEC in Birmingham between 3rd and 5th
June 2011.
Melanie Mapstone, solicitor for Talbots commented "This was a
straightforward legal transaction in many respects - what is so
exciting for Talbots is working with such a high profile and
exciting brand as Grass Roots Football".
"We are used to working with professional sportsmen and women in
what we do, so we demand high standards" said Ben Hatton. "Working
with Melanie and the team at Talbots matched the standards we work
to and the deal ran as smoothly as we would have hoped."
The Grass Roots Football Show is the biggest football event of
its kind in Europe. Over 22,000 square metres of wall-to-wall
action runs over three days in June with many of the country's
biggest personalities taking part. Former Blues star Robbie Savage
joins ex-Villa and Wolves boss Graham Taylor as well as Chris
Coleman, Iain Dowie and many other famous names dedicated to
improving grass roots football in the UK.
