Automated packaging system specialists Schubert UK has been
awarded with Benchmark Gold Accreditation for customer
satisfaction. As part of the Schubert group strategy for continuous
improvement, Schubert UK has also independently gained
accreditation for ISO 9001 and OHSAS 18001, for exceptional
business and health and safety practises in the UK and
Ireland.
Previously Schubert UK has been registered under the umbrella of
parent company Gerhard Schubert GmbH. However to achieve autonomy
in the UK market, Schubert UK are now proud to be certified for
both accreditations, following a recent assessment by an
independent body.
This achievement was a direct result of the entire organisation
effectively working together to develop and improve both quality
and health and safety systems. Both accreditations
demonstrate Schubert's commitment to excellence in both the service
to their customers as well as internal processes. It also means
that customers can expect higher safety standards from Schubert
whilst working at their sites.
ISO 9001 outlines strict standards for quality business
processes and is complemented by OHSAS 18001, a set of rules that
need continual advances in health and safety and risk management.
To gain these certifications companies must implement precise
management processes and meet high standards of customer-service,
product quality and health and safety.
With this in place Schubert can continue to be the leading
supplier of robotic packaging machinery. "This is a fantastic
achievement" said David Maddern, Sales Director at Schubert UK.
"ISO 9001 and OHSAS 18001 show our customers that we are a
committed and responsible company operating to the highest
standards" he added.
Schubert UK, based in Meriden, near Coventry, produces
innovative packing lines for well-known manufacturers in the food
processing, dairy, beverage, pharmaceutical and health care
sectors.
