Due to expansion, engineering software company Root Solutions
has moved to new premises in Nottingham.
Root solutions provides specialist engineering software
assisting companies with the design and manufacture of products,
has taken the first floor of Britannia House off The Ropewalk,
taking 1,000 sq ft of office space.
Sales manager Dan Mahoney who heads the Root Solutions
Nottingham office - which covers the North of England and Ireland -
said the move would enable the company to train more customers on
site.
Dan said: "We needed training facilities on site so that clients
in the north of England did not have to travel to our head office
in Cambridge. We not only have office space, but we have excellent
training rooms at Britannia House which are perfect for our
requirements.
"As a company, we are growing fast. At our Cambridge facility,
we recently expanded the team by three people. Our Nottingham
office is also looking to develop its core base of clients and
expand in the future."
The letting was carried out by Marc Ballard of Nottingham-based
Salloway which occupies the majority of Britannia House.
The three-strong Root Solutions team in Nottingham is seeing a
growth in the downturn, said Dan, a former property agent.
"We are a value added reseller for PTC, a US software company.
The products are constantly being improved and this means that we
are seeing growth in sales."
Marc Ballard said: "Root is a growing company throughout the UK
and we are delighted that it has chosen Britannia House for its
Nottingham office. This letting is a great example of how to make
positive and income generating use of surplus space within a
building, an activity which is becoming very common in the current
property market."
The letting is one of a number of deals carried out by Salloway
since its recent move to Nottingham.
