PKF, a leading firm of accountants and business advisers, has reorganised its senior team in Birmingham following a series of internal promotions.

Toby Stephenson has been promoted to Partner in Charge of the Birmingham office. Toby has been with PKF for over 21 years and in Birmingham since 2004, most recently serving as head of the office's Audit and Assurance department. Toby specialises in providing audit and business advisory services to entrepreneurial growing companies, UK based subsidiaries of overseas businesses and AIM-listed companies.

Ian Gould has been promoted to National Head of Corporate Recovery for PKF. Ian has extensive experience of all aspects of insolvency procedures and has worked with a large number of engineering, manufacturing and construction based clients throughout the West Midlands.

Brian Hamblin will now head Corporate Recovery in Birmingham. Brian returns to the West Midlands after 6 years in PKF's London office, where he worked as a joint Administrator on a number of high profile cases, including two F1 racing teams and a number of well known chains of retail outlets.

Chris Bond has been promoted to partner and will lead the Corporate Tax team in Birmingham. Chris has over 20 years' tax experience and deals with complex corporation tax planning issues at both a local and international level, as well as dealing with detailed investigations by HM Customs & Revenue. Chris joined PKF in 2007 and moved to Birmingham in 2009. He has a particular interest in the automotive, manufacturing, retail/wholesale and property sectors.

Toby Stephenson said: "This is an exciting time for everyone at PKF's Birmingham office. I congratulate Ian, Brian and Chris on their promotions and look forward to working with them in my new role as we continue to grow the business throughout the West Midlands. Increasing the team of senior people underlines the continued growth achieved by the office in spite of the challenges within the economy."
