Halesowen-based chartered accountancy firm Nicklin LLP has got
triple reason to celebrate after scooping a prestigious industry
award for the third consecutive year.
Nicklins achieved the 'hat trick' when it was named 'Accountancy
Firm of the Year (up to five partners)' at this year's ICAEW West
Midlands Chartered Accountant of the Year Awards. It was also the
fourth time Nicklins has won the award in the last five years.
Judges were impressed with the firm's commitment to help
business growth in the region, including its key role in a new
consortium being set up to help companies in the Black Country
access valuable funding and advice.
Nicklins partners Mark Howell and Joanne Baldwin were on hand to
collect the accolade at the awards lunch, which took place at
Birmingham's Botanical Gardens on Monday, May 9.
Commenting on the win, managing partner Harvey Owen said: "Just
to be shortlisted again was fantastic news, but to win for the
third year in a row is just incredible.
"As a Black Country firm through and through, helping businesses
in our region grow is extremely important to us and I am absolutely
delighted that we have once again had our efforts recognised in
this way.
"This award is a testament to the hard work of everyone at
Nicklins."
The accolade is the latest in a string of awards successes for
Nicklins, which have included Harvey being named 'Managing Partner
of the Year' at the 2020 Innovation Awards in October 2010.
Nicklins, which celebrates its 80th anniversary this year, was
also shortlisted under the 'Midlands Service Provider of the Year'
category in January's Midlands Business Awards.
