A firm of financial experts is on course to further establish
itself in the Black Country and Staffordshire after adding an
experienced head to its team.
Ludgate Finance, which has offices in Birmingham and Coventry,
has just recruited Steve Grice as the firm's business development
manager.
The 39-year-old, from Wolverhampton, has expert knowledge and a
strong contact base in the Black Country and Staffordshire areas
after spending three years in his previous role as business
development manager for the Black Country Reinvestment Society.
During his previous tenure Grice was able to grow his employer's
portfolio from around £500,000 to more than £3 million
and now he is hoping to use his knowledge and experience to further
establish Ludgate in the Black Country and Staffordshire as well as
strengthening existing links in Coventry, Warwickshire and
Birmingham.
Grice, who also spent time as a commercial manager at HSBC,
said: "I was familiar with Ludgate prior to joining them as I had
worked closely with them on a number of projects through my
previous employer and had got to know them well.
"What attracted me to the role was the opportunity to get out
there and get my hands dirty and add to our existing network - if
people ask me where I'm based I say the car!
"My main aim is to try and add to the strong connections we
already have in Coventry and Birmingham by using my contacts and
experience to establish the firm in the Black Country and
Staffordshire areas."
Ludgate Finance was established in 2007 and specialises in
fundraising, turnaround and financial troubleshooting for
business.
Richard Mason, director of Ludgate Finance said: "We are
delighted that Steve has joined us.
"The contacts and expertise he brings will help Ludgate grow in
the Black Country and Staffordshire.
"We have had many successes with helping local businesses and
have just finished a third year of strong growth, so this expansion
is a natural next step."
