East flagship store
A Midland beauty therapist is preparing to open new stores and
salons in Hong Kong and New York following the success of her Far
East flagship store in Taiwan.
Deborah Mitchell, who lives in Oaken, Wolverhampton, and owns
Heaven beauty salon in Shifnal, Shropshire, is best known for the
revolutionary products she has created herself, one of the most
popular being Bee Venom Mask, a natural alternative to botox, which
has been championed by Dannii Minogue and the Duchess of Cornwall,
amongst others.
Deborah recently flew out to Taipei to cut the ribbon on her
exclusive Heaven store and salon, and also agreed a deal to open
further outlets in Korea and China. She is set to return to the Far
East again next month (June) to open her Hong Kong store, before
heading to New York in September to launch there too. She already
has outlets in Dubai and South Africa.
The beauty expert has described how she was treated like a
celebrity from the minute she stepped off the plane and was met by
a TV crew. She was then whisked off to a press conference and said
she had been overwhelmed by the reaction of the Taiwanese people to
Heaven.
"It was such a fantastic experience, I felt like a film star for
the whole of my trip to Taipei," Deborah explained.
"I was met at the airport by TV reporters, and was given star
treatment wherever I went.
"It was amazing to finally see the store ready to open - it has
been beautifully designed, and is stunning to look at. It was
very glamorous, with secret doors leading off from the store to the
beauty rooms.
"I have a team of people working for Heaven in Taiwan, and was
thrilled to sign a deal whilst I was over there which will secure
further outlets in China and Korea. I launch in Hong Kong at the
end of June, and then fly to New York in September, to open the
first store in the US - it's a terrifically exciting time for
Heaven right now," she revealed.
It has been a hectic year for Deborah, who besides agreeing
deals for the new stores, was also involved in the preparations for
the Royal Wedding. She spent three days at St James's Palace giving
treatments, and helping guests get ready, including Camilla, the
Duchess of Cornwall.
Her success was also highlighted in the Global Business Awards
earlier this year, when Heaven's unique products and treatments
were recognised in the outstanding niche beauty brand category.
Now a worldwide brand, Heaven's wide range of mainly organic
natural health products has been gaining fans for quite some time,
amongst them, a host of A list celebrities, including Victoria
Beckham, Dannii Minogue and Emilia Fox.
Besides Hong Kong and New York, Deborah is also planning visits
to Singapore and Macau this summer, to discuss plans for more store
openings.
One of the most popular products is Deborah's Bee Venom Mask,
which contains manuka honey and a secret ingredient from bee stings
that works to control facial muscles for immediate smoother
skin.
Another popular treatment is Heaven's LIA Therapy or Lymph
Drainage, Incandescent Massage and Acupressure. Using a therapist's
own body electricity, it lifts muscles removing puffiness around
the eyes to give a natural face-lift.
The complete Heaven product range also includes Divine Cream,
skin polish, cleansers and toners, desensitisers, moisturisers,
face and body washes, scents plus a full gift collection and a wide
selection of His Heaven products.
