The LG Arena has been shortlisted as Britain's 'Best Live Music
Venues' in the prestigious Music Week Awards.
The Midland's music giant has hosted some of the biggest names
in pop over the past 12 months including Lady Gaga, Westlife and
Rhianna and welcomes over 1.5 million music fans
annually.
To win the coveted 'Best Live Music Venue' title the LG Arena
faces competition from big names like The Royal Albert Hall and
niche venues like Concorde 2 in Brighton and Cheese & Grain in
Frome.
Rob Langley-Swain, Marketing Manager for the LG Arena,
said:"Since the £29 million redevelopment the LG Arena it's
hosted some of the biggest names in music and has become a firm

The NEC Group has also been shortlisted for The Julie's Bicycle
'Green Business Award' for their contribution to sustainability in
the industry. The Music Week Awards take place on 24th May at The
Roundhouse in London.
