Internet Central launches new business-focused security products

Following the recruitment of four new members of staff over the last few months, local Staffordshire-based company, Internet Central Ltd is continuing its growth in the internet security market and has now introduced new products and services to its range of IT Security products offering enhanced internet security to small and medium businesses.

One of the UK's leading providers of Internet security services, Internet Central was also recently awarded the status of Fortimail Centre of Excellence by Fortinet for its email services thus confirming its status in the IT Security market.

Maitland Hyslop of Internet Central said: "Internet Central partners with Fortinet because of its innovative security solutions and elevated global reputation for initiatives against virus attacks, spam and network intrusions. We've worked closely with Fortinet for a number of years now because of our commitment to providing the finest commercial Internet services for SMEs. Fortinet is at the cutting edge of online security solutions, and we're delighted to be able to add extra Fortinet and other IT Security products to our range."

The new Internet security products in the Internet Central product portfolio include Stonesoft, which provides protective online platforms using Advanced Evasion Techniques (AET). Stonesoft is ideal for SMEs as it combines high-level security with ease of management and "plug and play" adaptability.

When it comes to mobile security solutions, Internet Central has introduced CIDWAY 2 technology for easy and safe authentication of users connecting to company networks via a mobile phone. This technology effectively eliminates the disadvantages of security tokens, and provides the perfect solution for innovative SMEs who have mobile workers and field-based staff who need to be able to access the business network securely from their mobile phone.

Maitland Hyslop added: "The range of new products spans Stonesoft technology for securing online platforms and CIDWAY for mobile security solutions. Internet Central has always invested in the latest technologies and infrastructure, which is why we've increased our product range - and as always, the new services are complemented by a bespoke business approach and excellent support for companies for total peace of mind.

"Other new initiatives include our Internet Central Cloud, a secure private cloud that protects vital business data and information. We have also recently employed more trained Business Continuity Consultants to ensure the very best service and continuity in the face of rising Internet and software threats. And we now have 6 Work Place Recovery sites situated around the UK, committed to drastically reducing offline time for companies should a fault occur."
