Midlands property consultant Innes England has appointed high
profile surveyor Peter McCrea as a director at its Derby
office.
Peter is one of the most well known chartered surveyors in the
city having previously worked at a variety of private and public
sector organisations, with the most recent being Milner McCrea. Now
he is returning to Innes England to head up the professional
services department.
In his new role he will provide extensive valuation advice to
all major banks for lending purposes as well as to private clients
for development appraisals, accounts, taxation and other purposes.
He will also advise extensively on landlord and tenant
matters and on business rates.
Peter brings with him a wealth of experience and has practised
in Derby for over 20 years. He specialises in landlord and tenant,
valuation and dispute resolution matters and is an RICS registered
valuer. He regularly acts as an arbitrator, independent expert and
an expert witness in a variety of property matters.
Peter said of his appointment: "After seven successful years at
Milner McCrea, Innes England has presented me with a fantastic
opportunity to return to the firm and lead the Derby professional
services team. After being offered the chance to return, I felt
that the time was right for me to further broaden my expertise and
I know that the role at Innes England will enable me to do just
that.
"I have developed excellent contacts over my many years in the
industry and I feel that this, coupled with my expertise, will be
very beneficial to the Derby team. Innes England is highly regarded
in the industry and I fully recognise the firm's value and work
ethic and think that the arrangement will be mutually beneficial to
both the firm and me.
"Working closely with other departments I will further develop
the professional services department so that clients, whether they
are private individuals or institutions, continue to receive the
most effective solution to their property related issues. I am
looking forward to the new challenge."
Gary Woodward, director at Innes England and head of the Derby
office says: "We are delighted to welcome Peter to the team. It is
great news for us as a firm to welcome a new director who has so
much experience and has such good connections and contacts within
the industry.
"Professional services are an important element of the overall
property services offered by Innes England to a growing number of
regional and national clients. Peter has full backing from the
Board to develop this offering for the benefit of both them and the
company."
