A Birmingham-based housing association has moved from Digbeth to
new offices on the Great Park business estate in Rubery,
Birmingham.
Harden Housing, which is part of the WM Housing Group and
manages more than 2,700 homes in the west midlands, has relocated,
together with the WM Housing development and sales teams. This
joint move, which brings different parts of the WM Housing Group
together, will lead to cost savings which will be ploughed back
into the business to benefit residents.
Thanks to the accessible motorway and road links to the new
offices staff at Harden Housing are introducing a different way of
working for front-line staff to further improve the organisation's
performance.
Assistant director for Harden Housing, Clair Caswell, said: "Our
homes are located in a wide area, from Kenilworth in the south, to
Dudley in the north, and all across Birmingham. The good transport
links to our new offices mean that we are now increasing the amount
of time that housing officers spend at our developments, which
should translate into better services for our customers.
"It is also much easier for residents to visit us. We have
already received positive comments from residents who have visited
our office. These have included that we are easily reached with a
bus stop outside and they can pop into Morrison's to do a bit of
shopping after!"
Harden has properties in and around the surrounding areas, and
has recently developed more 150 homes in the Longbridge area. This
includes the code 6 energy-efficient homes.
