Yorkshire Bank has added to its Independent Financial Advice
(IFA) team in Nottingham with the appointment of a new partner.
Chris Fenton has more than 17 years experience working in the
banking industry and is now based at Yorkshire Bank's Financial
Solutions Centre (FSC) on Castle Meadow Road.
The 37-year-old has joined the bank following a
six-and-half-year spell with a regional building society and has
previously worked for a number of major banks in the area.
Fenton, who lives in Belper, said: "I know from working and
living in the region over the last seven years that Yorkshire Bank
has a strong and well respected IFA team in Nottingham and the
wider East Midlands and I'm looking forward to helping strengthen
this offering even further.
"One of the main aspects of the role, and which attracted me to
Yorkshire Bank, was the opportunity to work closely with large
businesses, SMEs as well as private customers as part of their
integrated business model, along with the bank's great reputation
for working in the local community.
"I enjoy getting out and about meeting new people and guiding
companies of all sizes through every aspect of their finances, as
every business and private customer has different needs, so this
role is perfect for me."
Carl Dickinson, managing partner at Yorkshire Bank's Nottingham
FSC, said Chris's role had been created following an increase in
demand for the bank's IFA services which provides truly independent
and imparcial financial advice.
He said: "Chris has a very strong IFA background and is a
welcome addition to our growing team in Nottingham."
