A leading national accountancy firm has strengthened its East
Midlands senior management team with the promotion of two
managers.
Chantrey Vellacott DFK, which has offices in Northampton and
Leicester and can trace its roots back to 1788, has appointed Peter
Jones as manager of the firm's private client department while Jon
Higginbottom is now managing the corporate commercial arm of the
business.
The firm is one of the UK's top 25 accountancy practices and is
a member of the top ten international association DFK which is made
up of more than 300 offices in almost 100 countries.
Jones joined Chantrey Vellacott DFK in 2004 after one year
working for the Inland Revenue and having carried out his training
with the firm, he progressed to become assistant manager before his
latest promotion.
The 30-year-old specialises in all areas of personal taxation
dealing extensively with both compliance and advisory in areas
including self assessment, capital gains tax and inheritance
tax.
Higginbottom (32) has ten years of experience in both the
commercial and not-for-profit sectors and also carried out his
training with the firm.
He works with a variety of clients ranging from manufacturing
companies to national charities and has also made the step-up from
assistant manager to manager.
