Cathedral Interiors Ltd, a growing shop-fitting and refurbishment company has agreed additional bank funding with new partners NatWest to support their growth aspirations.

Cathedral Interiors was formed in 2004 by Roger Cockrell. Mr Cockrell has a lot of industry experience having previously worked for two major construction companies specialising in the retail and leisure markets. The company are re-imaging specialists supporting the retail, leisure and restaurant sectors. Over the years they have built a strong reputation based on reliability, the ability to identify individual customers needs and the interpretation of concepts.

Operating from Washinborough, the company carries out work throughout the UK. Amongst their customer base are McDonalds, Morrisons and Gant. Presently the company employs 24 full time staff, but also works with a large number of local trade sub-contractors, suppliers and consultants.

The new funding from NatWest repays the customers existing bank debt and provides fresh funding to support their expanded operations and potential growth.

Speaking about the future prospects for the company, Roger Cockrell, managing director, Cathedral Interiors Ltd said: "With our major clients continuing their own expansion plans in the UK, we have a positive view for our immediate future. To capitalise on the opportunities we see ahead, we needed extra investment and we are enthused by our new relationship with NatWest which provides the financial platform from which to reach for the aspirations we have for the company."

Jayne Hickson, senior relationship manager, commercial banking at NatWest in Lincoln who put in place the funding line added: "Cathedral Interiors has a strong business model with an impressive track record. Our funding is to help Roger and his team move to the next level of their evolution as a business."
