Birmingham based telemarketing agency Business Intelligence
Direct (BID) has become the latest company to relocate to 127
Hagley Road in Edgbaston.
Relocating from Calthorpe Road, the company has signed a 10 year
lease for 6,514 sq ft of office space within the building to
deliver its demand creation services, which include identifying
opportunities and establishing sales relationships for clients in
the financial services, professional services and information
technology sectors. Current clients include Standard Life and
Siemens.
The company will join existing tenants Zenos and the NHS within
the 63,382 sq ft building which offers highly contemporary office
space following an extensive £1.6 million internal and
external refurbishment. Situated in a prime position on the Hagley
Road, the property attracted BID due to a number of reasons as
Geoff Wilton, Sales and Marketing Director explains:
"We were looking to expand our business whilst remaining in a
central location and were attracted to the business park 'feel' of
127 Hagley Road. Additional features such as ample car parking,
onsite security and flexible leases with low occupancy costs meant
it was the obvious choice for us and we are thrilled with our new
office which provides plenty of space for us to grow as a
business."
Andrew Berry, Senior Surveyor in DTZ's office agency in
Birmingham, which as joint agent with King Sturge on the letting,
added: "Hagley Road is an established business district and already
home to a number of well-known occupiers including Barclays and
HSBC. As one of the main arterial routes in and out of
Birmingham, it is ideally suited to companies such as Business
Intelligence Direct that have a national client base."
Situated adjacent to the Plough & Harrow, 123-127 Hagley
Road comprises three five-storey buildings offering suites from
1,000 sq ft to 63,075 sq ft alongside a total of 291 car parking
spaces. The development is located on one of the main arterial
routes in and out of the second city, leading directly to junction
3 of the M5 and providing easy access to the rest of the West
Midland motorway network.
DTZ and King Sturge are joint letting agents for 123-127 Hagley
Road.
