A West Midlands logistics company has invested in a new fleet of
fork lift trucks to improve efficiency at their vast distribution
centre with financial assistance provided by Barclays
Corporate.
Pallet-Track has purchased 40 Linde fork lift trucks to operate
in their 267,000 square feet depot. The new state of the art
trucks are set to improve low carbon emissions, fuel savings and
reduce noise.
Pallet-Track is the UK'S latest and fastest growing overnight
pallet network. The business was set up in 2002 by Black Country
businessmen Nigel Parkes and Carl Jones, and now employs 70 people.
Since its inception the Pallet-Track 'round the clock' network has
achieved and surpassed all expectations in terms of quality and
service through their shareholding members. The company uses a
sophisticated and efficient handling operation which ensures all
pallets are electronically scanned, tracked and transhipped by a
highly professional management team.
Rob Eaton, Finance Director at Pallet-Track said: "The new fork
