undergoing a major refurbishment.
The Barclays branch in West Bromwich was officially opened by
Adrian Bailey MP.
The refurbishment has seen a number of improvements made
including a kiosk machine that will enable customers to view their
accounts, arrange transfers on their own accounts and to obtain
statements. There has also been a service phone installed for
customer use.
Gurjit Heer, Branch Manager commented: "When deciding on the
plans for the new layout, we took customer feedback into account.
We are delighted that the work has now been completed and we have a
smart new branch which provides a great environment for our
customers and staff alike."
Commenting on the opening, Adrian Bailey MP said: "It is good to
see a bank continuing to invest in its branch network which is an
important part of community life. I am delighted to be involved
with the official re-opening."
Staff at the West Bromwich branch celebrated the opening by
inviting customers in for coffee and cakes. During the day, funds
were raised for the British Heart Foundation which have been
matched by Barclays.
