Coventry based Active Construction will now commence work on Phase 2 of the St Andrews Church project in Leicester as part of a £160,000 scheme.

Phase 1 was completed in April of this year which comprised of the complete refurbishment of the existing church hall in order to offer comfortable and modern facilities for community groups.

Phase 2 which is a 12 week project comprises of a welcome foyer extension linking the church to the church hall.

Both phases have been designed by Coventry based Chartered Architects Vagdia and Holmes. Director of the practice Ken Holmes said "Having successfully undertaken the first phase I am delighted that Active Construction will continue with a very eye catching phase 2 extension to this prestigious Church which will be a most valuable enhancement to the Church".

Paul Roberts Director of Active Construction said "we are delighted to now be following on with the second phase; the design compliments the existing buildings very well and will be a tremendous asset to the church and community".
