A Long Eaton chartered certified accountancy firm has marked the
first anniversary of its second office which has helped the
business grow.
After 14 years in business, LJ Hanbury of Tamworth Road expanded
during the recession last year by taking on an existing practice,
Matrix Accountancy, based in Nottingham Road, Eastwood.
Matrix had clients across the Midlands and more have been taken
on under the new ownership of former tax and accountancy lecturer
Linda Hanbury.
The Eastwood office is staffed Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.
Among those on duty there is new recruit Laura Froggatt who, like
Linda, is a chartered certified accountant and has been practising
for 11 years.
"After just one year we are now firmly established in Eastwood
and successfully taken on new clients," said Linda. "Our strength
is on providing a friendly, personal, jargon-free service."
The company has had a website since it was set up and this is
now being changed with regular monthly updates.
The firm is also embracing social media. It has its own Facebook
page and is soon to start a series of observations and tips on
Twitter under the title The Hero Tax Nanny which will be tweeted
out three times a week to followers.
