1 May marks a milestone for more than 1,000 staff at Weightmans
LLP as they embark on a new financial year as a UK top 40 law
firm.
As the merger with Mace & Jones formally takes effect, 160
partners, fee earners and support staff join forces with their new
colleagues under the Weightmans brand.
Patrick Gaul, managing partner of Weightmans said:

country.
"In total we have welcomed 160 new people to the firm, including
an entire private client division which is led by top tier family

John Schorah, partner and head of Weightmans' Commercial

On 1 April, Weightmans acquired the insurance practice of
Vizards Wyeth.
The firm now has offices in Birmingham, Dartford, Knutsford,
Leicester, Liverpool, London and Manchester.
