Warwick-based PR agency Prova, a leading communications
consultancy in the environment and waste arena, is the launch
sponsor for a brand new category at this year's Awards for
Excellence in Recycling and Waste Management.
The awards ceremony, now in its eighth year, will be held at The
Savoy Hotel in London on Thursday 12th May. It is recognised across
the UK as one of the most prestigious events in the recycling
calendar, renowned for showcasing innovation, dedication and
success in recycling and waste management.
Prova is sponsoring the newly created 'Recycling Business of the
Year' category, which recognises the work done by a company, small
or large, operating in the UK which has provided a service in a
consistent and thorough way for its customers. The finalists in
this category are Hadfield Wood Recyclers, Newlife Paints Ltd and
Sweeep Kuusakoski.
Prova's Richard Postins said: "It's a privilege to be sponsoring
the awards and, in particular, a category which truly encapsulates
one of our key areas of expertise.
"The purpose of this new category is to recognise companies that
understand the benefits of recycling and take maximum
responsibility to implement this. The judges are looking for
entrants to prove they have considered quality as well as quantity
in delivering their recycling strategies.
"We feel it is a fantastic opportunity to demonstrate our
commitment to best practice in sustainability - an area which is
increasingly impacting on all industries and businesses."
The event will be hosted by Channel 4 News presenter and
journalist Krishnan Guru-Murthy and is run by letsrecycle.com
