event, which will include a site visit to demonstrate energy
efficiency at work in the East Midlands
A unique opportunity to experience a demonstration of energy
efficiency and the latest renewable technologies in a live, working
environment is taking place on 14th April 2011.
This free event will take place at The Centre of Renewable
Energy (CORE) near Retford on the Northamptonshire/Lincolnshire
border, which plays host to some of the UK's most innovative,
sustainable technology companies who either manufacture, supply or
advise on application and installation.
Organised by the Sustainable Construction iNet, this site visit
will be one of the most comprehensive demonstrations of energy
efficiency available within the East Midlands and will provide a
'hands on' experience of various renewable technologies, providing
delegates with answers to questions as well as a valuable
networking opportunity.
The CORE was opened in September 2009 as a showcase for all
aspects of renewable energy. It is the brainchild of farmer John
Strawson, who was shortlisted for the year's 'Green Farmer of the
Year Award' by Farmers Weekly Magazine and whose family has farmed
the land for generations.
The event starts at 9.30am and will close at 2pm, a buffet lunch
will be served. To register to attend please contact Gemma Davis on
