Shops and restaurants across North Staffordshire are now able to
stock award winning Titanic beer following a deal between the
Stoke-on-Trent brewery and major cash and carry retailers,
Booker.
Bottles of real ale from Burslem's Titanic Brewery went on sale
at the Stoke-on-Trent Booker wholesale store in Campbell Road for
the first time in early April.
The companies are hoping to reach an agreement to extend the
deal throughout the Midlands and North West.
Keith Bott, Managing Director of Titanic Brewery, said: "I am
delighted that we have been able to reach an agreement with
Booker.
"It means that local shops and restaurants can buy beer produced
in their home city and further improves our market reach.
"I look forward to seeing Titanic beer on sale in restaurants,
giving customers a choice of local real ale alongside the usual
wines and lagers."
