Leicestershire-based marketing communications agency, The Phoenix Partners, has appointed two new executives as part of an ambitious five-year programme of growth.

The agency is on target to comfortably achieve its 2011 projections and has brought in Jennifer Manning-Ohren as marketing communications executive, and Gita Bhatt as executive assistant to support the existing team both internally and help to deliver projects on behalf of new clients.

Jennifer joins the agency having previously worked in marketing and communications on behalf of regional business advisers Cooper Parry in Nottingham, while Gita worked in Operations at Premier Music International Ltd.

Defined as an experiential marketing agency and specialists in live events, The Phoenix Partners has recently returned from Berlin having co-ordinated a weekend of luxury and reward for over 330 of Canon Europe's top sales people and VIPs. The weekend is just one part of an annual incentive programme carried out by the agency.

Other national clients include BP, AXA Insurance, National Grid, Sequel, Carl Zeiss Vision, Canon Europe and Castrol, while closer to home the agency also works with MAE Limited, Flowers Associates, Norman & Underwood, Lloyds Employment Law and East Midlands RFCA.

Jennifer will be the central point of contact for public relations and marketing activities within the agency. In her spare time Jennifer enjoys swimming, cycling and running and takes part in triathlons, half marathons and marathons, raising thousands of pounds for charity in the process. Her most recent challenge was completing the Outlaw Triathlon comprising a 2.4mile swim in the National Water Sports Centre Regatta Lakes, near Nottingham, a 112 mile bike ride and a 26.2 mile run - all within a time limit of 17 hours.

Commenting on her new role Jennifer said, "I am delighted to have joined a truly exciting and forward-thinking business and am looking forward to the creative experience along the way. The Phoenix Partners embodies an approach to client service which is refreshing in the market place and I am keen to be part of that."

Rachel Hargrave, MD at The Phoenix Partners said: "We are really pleased to welcome Jennifer and Gita to the team here in Sileby. Their involvement will help us further enhance our service offering to clients and also highlights our commitment to attracting talented individuals with flair and imagination."
