McCann Birmingham has won a two way shoot out to net the
Vauxhall FA sponsorship deal.
Leading with TV, the campaign will break in the Autumn,
supporting the four Home Nations in the build up to Euro 2012 and
beyond. Scope of work includes above and below the line national
sponsorship support comprising advertising, POS, digital and direct
through to local dealer marketing across the leading car
manufacturer's UK network of almost 500 dealerships.
Celebrating all that is British, the creative was led by new
Aussie signing, Vince McSweeney, who joined the Midlands based
agency as Executive Creative Director from McCann Sydney earlier
this year. It marks his first significant win and puts a stake in
the ground for the quality of creative currently being produced by
the agency.
This news comes a couple of months after McCann Birmingham won
Vauxhall's UK service, body shop and accessory channels and six
months after landing its biggest ever win when it was
appointed to Vauxhall's retail, brand and accessories business.
