Bromsgrove based outdoor advertising specialist, StopAd, are
expanding internationally after exhibiting at Parkex, Europe's
leading annual exhibition for car park owners at the NEC.
The three-day event has led to exclusive distributor deals being
discussed and set up for Spain, Portugal and Canada, together with
a deal in China that will open up worldwide distributorship for the
firm.
Chris Poon from Sinotek in China commented: "We are delighted to
be working with StopAd in China and look forward to helping them
expand their base internationally.
"We have been looking for a car parking product to take into
China for some time - and this fits the bill perfectly."
In the UK, NCP are already a partner of StopAd and are currently
working with them throughout the UK.
The StopAd product is foremost an aid to make parking much
safer, particular in multi-storey car parks, as instead of hitting
the bollard or brick wall, vehicles hit the StopAd - which causes
no damage to the vehicle whatsoever.
Car park owners and managers throughout the UK confirmed that
they were looking to reduce the amount of insurance claims and
paperwork incurred by accidents happening in their car parks.
The secondary request was to be able to increase their revenue
from the same number of spaces available - and that's where StopAd
comes into its own.
With a 200mm square head, the StopAd is ideal to carry
advertisements from brands that wish to target specific demographic
groups - by utilsing a visual display that is seen by every
passenger and driver that parks a car!
They sit at the head of a car-parking space, and are the
driver's height when parking a vehicle - ideal for identifying
disabled and children and parents' spaces, plus ordinary spaces
too.
At Parkex, StopAd introduced their brand new option, whereby car
park owners can purchase the StopAd's direct from £15 and
utilise their own messages for their car parks. One golf club did
just that, and soon they will be marked with club captain, company
secretary, VIP spaces plus other too.
Jon Brewer, CEO and founder of StopAd commented: "I am both very
excited and thrilled at the fantastic response we received at
Parkex.
"It clearly confirms that the view of car park owners is the
same the world over - they are looking for greater safety in their
car parks, plus a better return on investment.
"StopAd gives them both - and all from exactly the same number
of car parking spaces.
"The fitting requires no drilling, and our sturdy, but very
flexible product, stays in place perfectly once fitted.
"We have made many new contacts at the Parkex show - both in
Europe, China and beyond, plus here in the UK, and we ready to step
up our production to accommodate our new forthcoming orders."
