Shropshire's young farmers will be showcasing the 'Best of
British' at this year's County Show with dozens of competitions -

Hundreds of youngsters come together at the Shropshire County

theme of the Best of British which will be reflected in their
competitions and floats, which parade around the main ring for all
to see.
YFC County organiser Megan Jones said: "Clubs will be competing
in a variety of competitions over the weekend including
Stockjudging (on the Saturday only), the home section, floral art,
crafts and photography.
"There will be a total of 40 competitions, including the more
obscure like pack a Mini, papier mache Policeman's hat, and make a
British landmark made out of scrap.
"Then our two main ring events, on the Saturday - It's a
Knockout, and on the Sunday our floats -themed 'Moments in British
History'.
"Last year we won the prize for Best Marquee at the Show, so we
are aiming high again this year."
