Savills is the best property advisor in the West Midlands,
according to leading trade publication Estates Gazette's regional
awards. The firm will be presented with the accolade at a RICS
Awards ceremony to take place on 27 May 2011 in Birmingham.
Savills, who now employ over 22,000 people world wide, covers 12
disciplines across the West Midlands. Achievements in 2010 included
the Birmingham investment team who transacted £643m of deals
and in addition the office sold over 170 acres of land. Savills
agency teams transacted over 2.5 million sq ft in the industrial
arena, including the 900,000 sq ft warehouse pre-letting to Marks
& Spencers at EMDC, and its property management department won
two significant instructions totalling over 600,000 sq ft adding to
its portfolio of 150 properties.

Savills success in the West Midlands has been reflective of its

climbing to number 71 in the overall league table of the top 500
business superbrands 2011. Savills has also retained number one
graduate employer titles in The Times and TARGETjobs National
Recruitment Awards and is the first real estate firm to be featured
in The Times top 100 graduate employer league table.
