A leading worldwide engineering company has set up business in
Warwick in one of the Midlands' largest office letting deals of the
year so far.
Commercial property agents Wareing & Company have attracted
Rolls Royce Plc into The Iceni Centre on the Warwick Technology
Park.
Rolls Royce will occupy the first floor of the building, which
amounts to 26,000 sq ft leaving only around 26,000 sq ft available
to let of the building which is owned by ING Real Estate Investment
Management.
Andrew Wall of Wareing & Company said: "It is great news for
the area to have attracted Rolls Royce to The Iceni
Centre.
"The building is an outstanding headquarters office which is
superbly located and those factors have played a major role in
bringing a company of this stature to Warwick Technology Park.
"Around 140 staff will be based there and that is a significant
boost to the local economy."
Andrew Wall, who is joint agent with Theo Holmes of CBRE
Birmingham believes the letting could prove a magnet to other
companies.
"This is an extremely high specification office building and we
anticipate that the arrival of Rolls Royce will spark significant
interest in the remaining space.
"The location is excellent - with Warwick, Coventry and
Birmingham all within easy reach and with London easily accessible
via the M40.
"The letting reaffirms our belief that the building is one of
the best office opportunities in the M40 corridor and we look
forward to welcoming further occupiers in the near
future."
