Lloyds TSB Bank, Rostance Edwards Accountants and Ansons
Solicitors joined forces to host a high profile networking event
for the local business community at the end of March at an evening
football match at non league Hednesford Town FC.
Commenting on the event, Adrian Burden, Senior Commercial
Manager at Lloyds TSB said: "At Lloyds TSB we are keen to ensure
that local businesses understand that we are very much open for
business and keen to provide finance to local companies which will
in turn support a private sector led recovery. By standing
alongside Ansons and Rostance Edwards we have demonstrated that
local professionals are working together as a force for good in the
local economy".
Jas Singh, Partner at Ansons added: "The evening provided us
with a great opportunity to renew our acquaintances with some of
our existing clients and contacts and also to get to know other
businesses, both large and small, from the area in a relaxed and
informal atmosphere."
Craig Moore Associate Director at Rostance Edwards confirmed:
"The event attracted businesses from across the region from a range
of business sectors and allowed us to demonstrate what great
financial and professional support there is available to them
locally".
The sum of £450 was raised for the Japanese Disaster
Relief Appeal organised jointly by Cannock Rotary, Soroptimists and
Cannock Lions, by way of a raffle the star prize for which was the
opportunity to pick the Man of the Match for the evening's game.
