Derbyshire based, Poppy-PR, has silenced the critics with a
successful first year in business, despite the recession.
The founder of the business, Tina Clough (25) started the
company based on Noskwith Street in Ilkeston, a year ago in a bid
to keep local economy alive and has since doubled the firms
turnover and client numbers.
Providing traditional and online PR solutions, Poppy-PR now
executes campaigns for clients including Belvoir Lettings, Nexsis
Comms Ltd, Marketing Mole, Ultimate-Mobiles and The Legal Deed Poll
Service, which resulted in Tina working alongside Christine
Hamilton last year.
The business began primarily from referrals with many clients
following Tina when she left agencies in and around Nottingham and
today Poppy-PR prides itself on providing a range of services all
tailored towards creating communications campaigns with clout.
Tina, who has a firm grounding in both journalism and PR, said
"I am absolutely delighted that Poppy-PR has had such a successful
first year. I decided to start the firm after believing that there
was a gap in the market for a PR agency that offered purpose
specific PR packages for the smaller business and start up.
"I hope that the success of Poppy-PR will continue over the next
few years as we have plans to offer many new services."
The agency has already successfully secured major coverage in
tabloids, broadsheets and on national and regional radio programmes
for both its local and national client base.
Tina Added: "Poppy-PR has proven that even in the hardest times
a brand new PR agency can thrive. The only way is now up for
Poppy-PR."
