Halesowen-based chartered accountancy firm Nicklin LLP is
celebrating after being shortlisted for one of the industry's most
prestigious regional awards.
The firm, which this year celebrates its 80th anniversary, is in
the running for the accolade of 'Accountancy Firm of the Year (up
to five partners)' in the ICAEW West Midlands Chartered Accountant
of the Year Awards.
Having won the award for the last two years running, Nicklins
will find out whether it has completed the 'hat trick' at a
ceremony which takes place at Birmingham's Botanical Gardens on May
9.
Managing partner Harvey Owen said: "I am delighted that we have
been shortlisted once again for such a prestigious award.
"As a practice firmly rooted in the Black Country, we have
always been committed to helping business growth in the West
Midlands region and I am pleased that this has again been
recognised at this stage of the judging."
The shortlisting comes just months after Harvey was named
'Managing Partner of the Year' at the 2020 Annual Innovation Awards
in October.
Nicklins was also a finalist in January's Midlands Business
Awards under the category of 'Midlands Service Provider of the
Year'.
