Worcester-based MFG Solicitors LLP (MFG) has announced plans to
relocate the firm's employment division to their offices in
Worcester city centre.
Led by Partner Sally Morris, MFG's six-strong employment team,
currently based in Halesowen, will transfer to the firm's offices
on The Tything in May.
Richard Connolly, Managing Partner at MFG said: "It is a period
of exciting and successful growth for MFG across Worcestershire. We
are an ambitious firm and feel moving our widely-admired employment
team to our offices here in Worcester represents a terrific
opportunity to develop our commercial practice.
"The team has played a phenomenal role in the success of the
firm and the move will certainly be beneficial for our existing and
potential clients as we put major resources into the city. We
advise many businesses across Worcestershire on matters of
employment and are confident our well-respected employment team
will, with Worcester as its centre, continue to develop our already
successful track record."
Sally Morris, head of MFG's employment division and a Partner at
the firm since 2006, added: "By moving the employment team to
Worcester we are not only bringing more jobs and clients into the
city, but I'm confident we will be in a stronger, more accessible
position to offer legal advice to businesses across Worcestershire
and beyond.
"We are already heavily absorbed in the fabric of Worcester's
business community and are looking forward to increasing our
profile further."
MFG's employment team is the largest of its kind in
Worcestershire and consists of one partner, an associate, an
assistant solicitor as well as one paralegal executive. The team is
supported by two secretaries.
The firm's Worcester office also accommodates MFG's Agricultural
and Rural Affairs team, the Family and Property divisions and
Private Client teams.
