Stratford-upon-Avon law firm Lodders has helped put Kentucky
Fried Chicken on the menu in Holyhead.
Pettifer Investments, the Cotswold-based property company, has
developed and let a 2,580 sq ft "drivethru" restaurant to KFC
Franchisee Gastronomy Foods UK Ltd on its retail park in
Holyhead.
KFC has agreed a rent of £62,400 per annum and was advised
by Legat Owen in the transaction.
Pettifer Investments then simultaneously sold the completed
investment to Threadneedle UK Property Trust based off a net
initial yield of 7.5 per cent. Pettifer Investments were advised by
Legat Owen and CBRE. The completed sale gives Threadneedle
ownership of the whole of the Phase 1 retail park.
Pettifer Investments is currently developing further land
between the Phase 1 development and Morrisons Food store that the
company built in 2008 to complete the 200,000 sq ft complex.
Lodders advised Pettifer Investments on the lease and sale and
has been involved in all legal work involved in the development of
the park since 2004.
