Businesses across Shropshire are invited to attend a free event unveiling the launch of a major new training and development programme for managers.

Shrewsbury-based human resources consultancy Triangle HR is hosting a breakfast meeting between 9.00-11.00am on Wednesday 13th April, at The Shropshire Food Enterprise Centre, Battlefield Enterprise Park, Shrewsbury, where it will outline its new Management Development Programme.

The innovative training initiative, which is fully accredited by Coventry University, aims to encourage local companies to improve their leadership and management capabilities by getting key staff to take part in four flexible three-month-long modules, each led by experienced and highly-qualified coaches linked to the University.

The modules, which will be delivered via a range of teaching methods, including classroom-based study, one-to-one tutorials, and online learning, will focus on a number of key business subjects, such as managing performance effectively. Participants successfully completing all four modules will achieve a valuable University Diploma qualification. But there is also the flexibility for employers to commit to just one module at a time, the successful completion of which will still see the participant receive a certificate from Coventry University.

Founder and Director of Triangle HR, Justine Vaughan, explained: "This Management Development Programme aims to give managers and future managers all the essential skills and tools they require to lead people effectively. Having well-trained, highly competent managers can really help to deal with a variety of issues, from handling workplace conflict and high levels of absence, right through to improving employee performance and productivity.

"I'd encourage any Shropshire-based business interested in getting more out of their staff to come along to our free launch event to find out more about what we are offering, and how the Programme could be of benefit to their future success."
