Walsall-based Keyfuels has achieved 'one to watch' status in the
prestigious Best Companies accreditation scheme, which follows an
elite 'Michelin style' star rating system for organisations that
demonstrate high levels of employee engagement.
The company, which employs over 50 people at its headquarters on
the Premier Business Park in Walsall, is the leading fuel card and
fuel management solutions provider in the UK. This involves
managing billions of litres of fuel each year and providing
state-of-the-art fuel management programmes to some of Europe's
largest fleet operators.
Best Companies Accreditation was established to acknowledge
excellence in the workplace and feeds in to the prestigious Sunday
Times 'Best Companies to Work for in the UK'. It is awarded
following the analysis of questions within the Best Companies
employee survey.
The award was presented to Keyfuels' Service and Operations
Director, Peter McCarthy, by Jonathan Austin, founder and CEO of
Best Companies. Peter commented: "This award is based on staff
feedback, making it a true reflection of how our employees feel
about the business. At Keyfuels, we recognise that the biggest
assets any company can have are its people and we work hard to
ensure that we communicate effectively with all staff and that our
business is a happy and healthy place to work."
Jonathan Austin, founder and CEO of Best Companies said: "I
would like to congratulate Keyfuels on their outstanding
achievement. This year it is encouraging to see that more and more
organisations are recognising the value of employee engagement and
are willing to benchmark themselves against the best to ensure they
are offering their employees the best possible experience.
Organisations like Keyfuels have continued to focus on their
employees and have been rewarded with an engaged workforce who tell
us that this is a great place to work."
