Housing and regeneration group LHA-ASRA has appointed a new group board member, Elaine Conway.

Ms Conway is a qualified accountant with an MBA from Duke University in the US, who joins the Leicester-based housing and regeneration group with over 17 years industry experience.

With her fellow board members, she will have responsibility for ensuring the organisation continues to be well-governed and achieves its strategic objectives.

In addition to her new role, Ms Conway is also a non-executive director of Nottinghamshire County Primary Care Trust and sits on its Audit and Governance Committees.

She is a part time lecturer at Nottingham and Derbyshire Business Schools, and is also a fellow of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants.

Matt Cooney, LHA-ASRA group chief executive, said: "We are pleased to have attracted such a high calibre and experienced individual to join the group.  Elaine will provide a broad and diverse skill set."
