Derby law firm Flint Bishop has teamed up with leading Midlands
PR, digital and creative agency BCS to present a seminar on how to
get the best out of online networking.
Rob Wilmot, BCS director and co-founder of Freeserve, will be
speaking at the free breakfast seminar on Thursday, April 14 (8am -
9.30am) at The Brian Clough Suite, Pride Park Stadium, Derby.
Aimed at business people throughout Derbyshire, the seminar will
highlight how LinkedIn offers a fantastic opportunity to create
real value for businesses. Rob Wilmot will talk about his
experience with LinkedIn and how he uses it every day to build,
maintain and leverage meaningful and mutually-beneficial
relationships.
Rob said: "I'll be covering topics such as how to manage
LinkedIn profiles and reputation, etiquette surrounding
introductions, and leveraging connections whilst being useful to
others.
"LinkedIn provides real business-focused opportunities so I'll
be going through some practical steps that can be followed and
implemented and debunk some of the myths that surround online
networking."
Carl Weston, Head of Marketing at Flint Bishop, commented: "Lots
of the professionals I speak with have heard of LinkedIn and some
are on it. But, many don't really understand its full power or the
tangible business benefits that it presents - this presentation
will be enlightening for all."
Someone who has attended one of Rob's seminars on LinkedIn and
has made money through it is Debbie Kaye, owner of Alexander Kaye
Specialist Finance Recruitment.
She said: "Business-wise, it is such a fantastic tool. With
Rob's guidance I have found it to be really wonderful and reckon it
has made me at least £25k in revenue which, for a free
resource, is wonderful."
