Juju’s Cafe launch new summer menu

Ju Ju's is all about serving freshly prepared wholesome food from the best that Birmingham market has to offer, producing great dishes at a reasonable price for their customers.

Ju Ju's is independent and privately owned by local resident & restaurateur Julia Pallister. Julia has a very traditional approach to managing her restaurant and hand picks her fresh ingredients to create truly amazing dishes. This really is 'market fresh' stuff and Julia is often at the fish market at 4am on Friday mornings selecting fish for her weekend's specials.

"Quality and freshness of ingredients is key to producing great dishes" says Julia. "Our kitchen team is trained to ensure that our food is stored and prepared with TLC which makes our dishes extra fresh and exciting."

"Our summer menu has seen the return of some great dishes and several new additions, all chosen by our customers."

Extensive market research has been carried out with Ju Ju's regular customers, of which she has a very loyal following. After extensive brain storming sessions and customer tastings, the summer menu was born.

Julia is delighted with the end result, "our kitchen team, Mel & William have done a fantastic job interpreting our customer's tastes.  Each dish tastes absolutely delicious and is superbly and creatively presented."

Julia adds "I am also pleased at the range of dishes which will appeal to everyone. The menu is very eclectic and offers great choice."

All of Ju Ju's dishes are made on the premises in their 5H rated kitchen.  Each dish is unique both in style, taste and presentation and some are full of surprises like our fish pie;  succulent chunks of fresh fish & sea food poached in a Mediterranean inspired tomato sauce and  beautifully presented in a scallop shell with a puff pastry glistening  lid.

"Our customers faces say it all when this dish is served, it is like breaking into a pearl! Breakfast can also be full of surprises; Ju Ju's hash is served in its own frying pan!"

Great dishes in a fab location with terrific views through the glass fronted restaurant over the canals offers the perfect dining experience. This is a prime spot to view the narrow boats and wildlife associated with the canals and the large outside seating area captures the sun for most of the day. Diners can also expect great service from an enthusiastic team who are passionate about their customers and the food they serve.
