After successfully launching a series of Networking Events for the Black Country business community earlier this year, Pushpa Alexander, founder of Headz Up Business is busy building on the help and support she and her associates can provide. In addition to networking, event management, business support for women and the black and minority ethnic community; she is offering businesses the opportunity to fill their gaps in skills and knowledge through bespoke and off-the-shelf training packages. And with businesses struggling to succeed in the current financial climate, she is proud to be able to offer training sessions for FREE to new businesses, thanks to landing a major sponsorship deal with YSes.  

YSes specialises in serviced office spaces across the UK. Their national portfolio of properties extends to offices in prime city locations, and it's at their business centre West Midlands House located in Willenhall which will be the setting for the 'Let's Get U Started!' started workshops. Through these workshops, Pushpa Alexander and her associates will provide vital sales & marketing information and guidance for start up companies & entrepreneurs.  

'Let's Get U started!" was inspired by Tom Berwick Chief Executive of Enterprise UK, who suggested that to get the UK back on track and stimulate economic growth "We need to back the UK's entrepreneurs, start ups and small business leaders if we are going to see the much heralded enterprise - led recovery." The workshops are exclusively aimed at Start Up Businesses. They will provide much needed support for those that are embarking on their entrepreneurial business career. Eligible individuals include those who have recently been made or are facing redundancy who are seriously considering starting up their own business, those who have got their ideas worked up and want guidance to help them take their next step and/or those working from home. Places are free but limited to 20 delegates at each workshop.

The training strand of Headz Up Business is supported by a range of associates with backgrounds in management, finance, business support and coaching. Pushpa Alexander is a shrewd entrepreneur with over 20 years of business experience in both large multinational companies as well as small start ups. She also has an extensive network of businesses to refer to and these links will allow participants to explore real examples of good practice. Her extensive experience in the exhibition and event industry ensures that the events will be well thought through and ensure that participants meet their aims and achieve their goals.
