Headland, the Leeds and Nottingham-based digital marketing
agency, has designed and built a new consumer-facing website for
Nottingham Building Society (The Nottingham).
The site, www.thenottingham.com, which went live in March,
promotes The Nottingham's range of mortgage and savings products,
and highlights its local branch network.
Headland has incorporated a state-of-the-art content management
system (Ektron CMS400.net), which enables content changes to be
managed in-house quickly and cost-effectively. The digital agency
has also designed a bespoke rate management module, which allows
interest rate changes to be implemented seamlessly in text and
graphics across the site in product information, mortgage decision
trees and savings calculators.
Of particular importance to the mutual society, which uses the
strapline 'bringing your finances closer to home' are the website's
local branch features. There is a branch finder facility, which
uses Google Maps and each branch has its own page with useful
information about the branch and its key staff, including
photographs.
Headland director Graeme Wilson said: "The Nottingham's new site
combines state-of-the-art functionality to meet the needs of a
modern building society in today's digital age, with content which
emphasises the society's customer focus and heritage as a
community-based mutual building society."
Rachel Kolebuk, marketing manager, The Nottingham, added "We are
delighted with the new Nottingham consumer site designed by
Headland. It delivers on the objectives and the step-change in our
online presence we briefed in. Our account team were experienced,
informative and helpful throughout the process and delivered on the
day. We're looking forward to working with the Headland team on new
initiatives and driving online ROI".
Having successfully completed the website, phase two of
Headland's brief is to deliver on-going digital marketing campaigns
that drive qualified traffic to the site as well as rolling out the
new online brand to other product categories.
Headland works with a portfolio of financial services clients to
provide compelling online product offerings, online application and
transactional services, robust and future proofed technical
infrastructures and drive high volumes of qualified traffic.
Clients include banks, building societies, insurance companies,
stockbrokers and pensions providers.
