The drpgroup have acquired leading Birmingham-based digital media specialists MS Internet. As of the 4th April 2011, the MS team will become part of drpdigitalmedia, combining their considerable resources and client bases. The move came about following the MS and drpdigitalmedia teams working together on numerous projects over the past year and the new opportunities this relationship will bring.

drpgroup managing director Dale Parmenter says "The two teams have collaborated on a number of projects over the last 12 months It was clear the cultures of the two companies are very similar. MS Internet bring a range of innovative digital media services to the mix and the drpteam will bring its high level of service, extensive experience, quality and design resource, plus is huge range of communication and presentation solutions" 

The new extended team will be headed up by drpgroup's director of digital media Ben Wallace. "The acquisition will allow us to extensively grow our existing range of digital products including website development, social media, mobile phone apps and interactive solutions. Both teams are extremely excited about the future and I feel sure we will integrate quickly" reports Wallace

The majority of the newly formed team have moved into a new, purpose built 5,000sqft digital production and design facility based in the drpgroup's Midlands head office. The remainder of the team will be based in the group's London, Covent Garden facility
