Midlands-based Discovery, the highly regarded graduate talent
management company, has bought performance improvement experts
StrategA as the first of several planned acquisitions for
2011/12.
"StrategA complements our broad base offering of talent
management solutions", says Discovery's MD Jonathan Evans.
"Our reputation for delivering the highest calibre graduate
talent to industry supported with the finest accredited training
programmes means our clients are able to build sustainable teams of
future business leaders. The addition of StrategA ensures we
are able to further support business with ongoing tools and
expertise that improves performance and aids retention."
StrategA's flagship products include the unique
three-dimensional biological pattern-based behavioural profiling
system, Parallax, which is already providing performance
improvement solutions for a number of world-class FTSE
companies.
Complementing this and underpinned by the same technology are
the 'role focused' competency framework appraisal / training &
development systems. Unlike any other profiling system, Parallax
identifies brain-based behaviour patterns. This added information
enables the user to understand deep level behaviour and therefore
deliver more reliable information.
StrategA's MD, Chris Battye comments; "We are delighted to
become part of Discovery and are excited at the prospect of working
together. Our values are aligned closely with those of Discovery
and we share a common purpose - to enable businesses to achieve
sustainable performance improvement. Our expertise helps businesses
to out-perform through appropriate hiring strategies and people
development despite being faced with unprecedented economic
challenges. This combined advantage creates multiple opportunities
for our group".
